The Ear Research Foundation has hosted and facilitated support groups for many years.
All of our groups were put on hold during the pandemic. We are revitalizing post-pandemic, presenting more groups and offering a hybrid format.
Attendees are able to join virtually from anywhere, or in-person at our office.
Support Groups hosted by the Foundation:
- Cochlear Implant Support Group
(general information, open to recipients, patients undecided, as well as friends and family)
- Connecting to Life with your AB Community
Hosted by: Advanced Bionics, for recipients or future recipients of Advanced Bionic implant devices
- Dizzy & Balance Support Group
Part of the VeDA Support Group Network, for anyone suffering dizziness, vertigo, Meniere's Disease or balance issues.
- American Tinnitus Association Sarasota Support Group
Open to anyone who is a tinnitus sufferer or family, friends of those suffering.
- Hearing Loss Support Group
- Open to anyone who is or has suffered hearing loss, including individuals with hearing devices.
